Dr Anita Heiss - author, satirist, social commentator and poet - is the guest of the Bundaberg Libraries Author Talk in April.

Anita is the author of Paris Dreaming and Manhattan Dreaming, and is also the Editor of the Macquarie Pen Anthology of Aboriginal Literature, and the author of I'm not Racist, but… and many other books. Anita will talk about her books and writing processes.

Dr Heiss is a regular guest at writers' festivals and travels internationally performing her work and lecturing on Indigenous literature. She is an Indigenous Literacy Day Ambassador and a proud member of the Wiradjuri nation of central New South Wales.

There will be wine and nibbles after the talk and you can also buy a copy of Anita's books and get an autograph.

Bookings are essential and will be taken from late March. Please watch this space, and the Bundaberg Libraries Facebook page, for details on when bookings become available.
